he Pulesari tourist village is a part of Wonokerto village in Yogyakarta. It is located on the foot of Mount Merapi, 400-900 meters above sea level. Pulesari was designated a traditional tourist village on Nov. 9, 2012.
The village has a strong presence of traditions and culture. Popular tourist attractions include the Adat Pager Bumi ceremony held every Bulan Sapar Rabu Pungkasan (Javanese calendar date), Kubro Siswo, traditional Salak dance, river trekking, and jathilan and karawitan performances.

There are 46 homestays in the region with prices ranging from Rp 50,000 for two people to Rp 150,000 for a group of 10.
