Thai Airways is set to operate from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport’s Terminal 3 on May 1.

The Thai-flagged carrier previously operated from the airport’s Terminal 2D.

“At Terminal 3, Thai Airways can be found at the B21 to B26 check-in counters,” said state-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura II’s (AP II) Soekarno-Hatta branch communication and legal senior manager Erwin Revianto on Wednesday as quoted by tempo.co.

Erwin encourages passengers to pay attention to information about  their flights.

Passengers are also advised to arrive early at the airport to ensure a smooth departure.

Facilities and services provided at Terminal 3 include e-parking, free Wi-Fi, self check-in (still in progress) and automated gates at immigration.

It was previously announced (http://www.thejakartapost.com/travel/2018/04/23/qantas-jetstar-to-move-to-soekarno-hattas-terminal-3.html) that Qantas and Jetstar Asia Airways would also operate from Terminal 3 starting May 11.

AP II has been gradually moving international carriers that are members of the SkyTeam airline alliance from Terminal 2 to Terminal 3.

Among the airlines operating from Terminal 3 are Garuda Indonesia, Saudi Arabian, Vietnam Airlines, Korean Airlines, Xiamen Air, China Airlines, China Southern, AirAsia International, Malaysia Airlines and Fly Scoot Tiger. (kes)
