ational flag carrier Garuda Indonesia celebrated Kartini Day on April 21 by operating special flights featuring an all-male cabin crew.
Among the special Kartini Day flights were GA 2016's Jakarta-Yogyakarta and GA 207's Yogyakarta-Jakarta routes.

“To celebrate Kartini Day on April 21 this year, we want to present a bit different atmosphere on our flight by featuring an all-male cabin crew,” Garuda Indonesia trade director Pikri Ilham Kurniansyah said in a statement.
Additionally, various gimmicks were given to female passengers such as free vouchers to Taman Sari Royal Heritage spa, flowers and special inflight meals.
"These services are a representation of our appreciation to all great Indonesian women who tirelessly inspire others with their life values,” Pikri added. (gis/kes)
