The hotel is strategically located among the most sought-after street food vendors in Jakarta.
Hotel management company HIM Hospitality introduced Sparks Luxe Jakarta on Jl. Pecenongan on July 14.
Possibly the only sleek hotel in the area, the property first opened 18 years ago as Alila Jakarta, attracting design enthusiasts to come and visit, stay and even hold events.
Andreas Bindoan, managing director of HIM Hospitality, said in a statement that the inclusion of the four-star Sparks Luxe in the company’s portfolio was expected to strengthen its position in the industry.
HIM Hospitality also manages Sparks Life Jakarta, as well as other properties in Bandarlampung, Lampung and West Java’s Bandung and Sukabumi.

As the new management aims to improve services and facilities, Sparks Luxe will still be known as the sleek hotel strategically located among the most sought-after street food vendors in Jakarta.
The hotel’s close proximity to Kota Tua and some of the capital’s landmarks, including the National Monument (Monas), Pasar Baru shopping district, Istiqlal Mosque and the Jakarta Cathedral, also make the hotel a convenient base for exploring Central Jakarta. (mut)
