United States-based hotel chain Marriott International has opened a new hotel in Bali, specifically in the Jimbaran hills area.
The Four Points by Sheraton Bali Ungasan is the company’s third Four Points-branded hotel on the island, and was designed for “today’s modern traveler”.
According to a statement received by The Jakarta Post on Thursday, among the highlights of the property are 270 rooms and suites featuring 49-inch TVs and complimentary Wi-Fi, a pool bar that serves local craft beers on tap, an infinity pool, spa, family pool and kids’ club and a ballroom that can accommodate up to 1,200 people.
The hotel also boasts a wedding chapel called Rama Shinta for those looking to tie the knot.
“We are delighted to open Four Points Bali Ungasan, and look forward to welcoming our guests, be they families with children, couples, curious solo travelers ready to explore Bali’s hidden gems, or meeting participants seeking productivity in a memorable setting,” said Four Points by Sheraton Bali Ungasan general manager Akhmad Fadholi in the statement.
Based on its location, the hotel offers easy access to several attractions such as Dreamland and Pandawa beaches and Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK).
Four Points by Sheraton currently has over 250 hotels in more than 40 countries and territories. Meanwhile, Marriott International itself boasts a portfolio of more than 7,000 properties under 30 brands, scattered across 132 countries and territories. (kes)
