ll tourism activities at Komodo National Park in East Nusa Tenggara have been suspended following bad weather warnings issued by the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) in West Manggarai.
The bad weather would mostly affect sailing in all of West Manggarai and East Nusa Tenggara, according to Komodo National Park Agency head Awang when contacted by The Jakarta Post via messaging app on Monday night.

Following the warnings, the agency called on tourism players and visitors to refrain from conducting any activities in the waters of the park until the weather gets better.
The head of the port management office for Labuan Bajo Class II, Simon Baot, told the Post on Monday night that all sailing activities by fishers and ferry trips from Labuan Bajo Port to Sape Port in Bima, West Nusa Tenggara, had been canceled due to the bad weather.
"We will issue a new announcement should the weather improve," Simon said. (gis/kes)
