ndonesia’s most-trusted insurance company AIA Financial (AIA) kicked off 2023 with AIA Vitality Live 2023 on Sunday at Istora Senayan, Central Jakarta. The sports and music festival celebrated the healthier lifestyle endorsed by AIA’s integrated health and wellness program, AIA Vitality.

The event was attended by a crowd of 4,000 people including AIA Vitality members, AIA customers, employees and various communities.

Throughout the day, they partook in three sports challenges, including a 5-kilometer run and walk, a zumba session with health-influencer Laila Munaf accompanied with beats by DJ Diskopantera and body-combat session with DJ Yasmin. By joining the challenges, participants collected numbers of steps and heart rate that were recorded by smart devices connected to the AIA Vitality app.

The day ended on a high note with performances from musicians Tulus and Reza Artamevia.

“We organized AIA Vitality Live 2023 to celebrate the achievements we’ve made with the AIA Vitality program towards healthy living. I greatly appreciate the enthusiasm we saw among thousands of customers and AIA Vitality members, employees, sales forces and the public,” said AIA president director, Sainthan Satyamoorthy, who hoped that the event would continue to be held annually.

With a membership of 1.5 million members in total in eleven countries, AIA Vitality is a gamechanger in the insurance industry. The program integrates health and life insurance with supporting features to motivate AIA’s customers to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

Customers are rewarded with AIA Vitality points with every healthy change in their lifestyle. Similarly, AIA Vitality has also been scientifically proven to extend its users’ lifespan by 25 years.

“Throughout 2022, we’ve helped AIA Vitality members rack up 3.7 million km in total, the equivalent of five round trips to the moon,” said Kathryn Parapak, AIA chief marketing officer.

“We thank the millions of customers for incorporating AIA Vitality as part of their transformation towards a healthier lifestyle and improve their quality of life. Of course, none of this would be manageable without the AIA Vitality partners who have been supporting our mission to encourage millions of Indonesian families to live healthier, longer and better,” Kathryn added.

AIA Vitality Life 2023’s focus also extended beyond the physical and mental wellness of its human participants, giving some attention to the environment they live in. For every person participating in the event, one tree will be planted through a reforestation program across five provinces in Indonesia.

The event was supported by AIA Vitality official partners, including Celebrity Fitness, Fitness First, Fitbit, Garmin, Grand Lucky, Prodia and Samsung.
