Semarang’s culinary destination for Ramadan Enjoy the sensations of breaking the fast with five-star cuisine from Padma Hotel Semarang, Central Java.

ith Ramadan just days away, Padma Hotel Semarang is presenting its first Ramadan celebrations after a six-month period of preinauguration in September 2022.

During the holy month, Padma Hotel Semarang will welcome guests to break the fast in Semawis All-Day Dining, a restaurant with a charming and contemporary design that is open all day.

Semawis All-Day Dining will serve various signature Ramadan dishes comprising Mediterranean and Indonesian cuisines. Some of the Mediterranean dishes available during the month of Ramadan will include almond-stuffed and chocolate-coated dates, chicken biryani, lamb kebab, kofta, tagine, butter chicken, mouhamara (spicy dip), zalouk (grilled eggplant and tomato), labneh (strained yoghurt), hummus, zaatar (spice) bread, papadums, pita bread and prata bread. For the Indonesian menu, there will selection of penyetan (smashed ingredients) with a variety of sambals, fried foods and takjil (sweet treats) such as kolak pisang, es campur, es teler and assorted goolali gelato, a mandatory menu when breaking the fast.

Not only the aforementioned menus, Padma Hotel Semarang has also prepared another signature dish to break the fast in Semawis All-Day Dining, which is Lamb Ouzi. All the dishes will be served as a buffet, so guests can freely choose the dishes they want to enjoy when breaking their fast starting at Rp 328,000 (US$21.37) per person.

Orders made before March 25 will also come with a special early bird offer of buy-five-get-six. Moreover, orders made during the month of Ramadan will receive the offer of buy-10-get-11.

The Iftar Feast program at Padma Hotel Semarang takes place from March 25 to April 19, from 5.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. throughout the month of Ramadan, accompanied by stringed musical performances before breaking the fast.

The month of Ramadan would not be complete if it were not greeted with the joy of victory on the final day of fasting by enjoying an Eid Brunch on April 22 at Semawis All-Day Dining starting from Rp 358,000 per person.
