evota, a company founded in 2004, specializing in inventory management systems for fashion and retail, has reached a remarkable milestone by surpassing Rp 1 trillion (US$62.71 million) in gross transaction value (GTV). This achievement reflects Revota's strategic focus on technology integration, customer satisfaction and expansion, leading to substantial success and a continuously growing GTV.

The inception of Revota traces back to the early 2000s when Bandung's clothing and distro (distribution) industry experienced rapid growth. Ruby Agustrianto, chief marketing officer of Revota, recalls the challenges faced by many distros in Bandung in 2004: "The distros struggled with unmanaged growth, having a multitude of customers but lacking integrated point-of-sale (POS) systems." Recognizing this need, Revota seized the opportunity by installing its first system at Invictus distro in Bandung.

Benny Sudaryanto, the CEO of Revota, places a significant emphasis on customer satisfaction and after-sales support. He underlines, "Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and Revota is dedicated to growing alongside our customers and brands as they expand."

Revota's approach has always centered on offering tailored solutions to its partners. For instance, Revota addressed operational challenges faced by Inspired, a prominent distro based in Malang, especially concerning data input from various brands. Revota introduced a data communication feature among its partner brands, streamlining Inspired's operations.

Revota's strength lies in its extensive experience since 2004 in developing and supporting IT applications for the fashion apparel industry. This profound understanding of the industry, particularly in fashion apparel, distinguishes Revota from its competitors. Ruby Agustrianto highlights this unique position, stating, "Revota possesses an in-depth understanding of the specific needs and unique challenges of this industry, enabling us to provide end-to-end IT solutions tailored to each partner."

Revota's inventory management system started expanding to other areas in 2009, coinciding with the improved internet connectivity across Indonesia. Today, the company boasts an impressive 143 partners, collaborating with 171 brands and 5,434 sub-brands, operating across 160 cities in 22 provinces.

Revota's notable partners include Erigo, a collaboration that commenced in 2020, alongside other significant brands such as Bloods, Maternal Disaster, Starcross, Screamous, House of Smith, Mayoutfit, SCH, Inspired and Warning.

Since 2021, Revota has been instrumental in helping its partners manage stock and sales, resulting in a cumulative total of Rp 2.7 trillion by mid-2023 through its inventory management system.

In June 2022, Revota joined forces with Restock Tech, a company that also owns Restock.id, a peer-to-peer (P2P) lending firm providing alternative financing for growing SMEs. Together with Restock Tech, Revota plans to enhance operational efficiency by developing a flexible inventory management system that can adapt to technological and industry needs. The focus is on strong integration and connectivity with other systems, along with the implementation of an automated inventory management system to optimize warehousing processes and provide robust support for data management.

In 2023, Revota embarked on a transformative journey by rewriting and developing existing applications to address the challenges presented by rapidly evolving technology and retail trends. This initiative aims to enhance the performance of Revota's applications, delivering a modern customer experience in line with the demands of the times. Revota remains committed to leading the fashion industry by providing the latest solutions and innovations.

Furthermore, Revota has ambitious plans to develop a more efficient supply chain ecosystem, which includes improving product identification, enhancing omnichannel capabilities and integrating systems for brick-and-mortar stores. Revota will also serve as an aggregator for "last-mile" deliveries and introduce campaign platforms across various media.

To support these endeavors, Revota will establish a robust data warehouse for analyzing the market, brand profiles, customer segmentation, geographical behavior and facilitating credit scoring processes in collaboration with Restock.id. Predictive systems will also be integrated to analyze trends and project various aspects of the business, from marketing to changes in the industry landscape influenced by social media, politics, regulations and market sentiment.
