Agnez Mo is the first Indonesian celebrity whose wax figure is now part of the walk of fame of Madame Tussauds Singapore.
On Oct. 5, Agnez Mo's wax figure was revealed at Madame Tussauds Singapore after the planned initial launch was delayed due to the pandemic. Agnez Mo is the first Indonesian celebrity whose wax figure is now exhibited at the museum.
"I am really honored to be invited to have my own figure, as Madame Tussauds is such an iconic place to be at. It gives me the opportunity to let people around the world learn about my work and my story—about a girl who has a dream and the tenacity to make it happen," Agnez Mo said during her wax figure revelation in Singapore.
Agnez Mo also posted her excitement about her wax figure on Instagram.
"Thanks Madame Tussauds for recognizing this little quirky girl in me, for celebrating me by NOT choosing their version, but MY version of me, and also celebrating the uncorrupted yet disruptive me as my legacy. I am humbled and honored," Agnez wrote.
Flocks of public figures congratulated the multi-talented singer and songwriter, including Indonesia's former badminton player, Greysia Polii, and writer, Dee Lestari.
Greysia wrote, "Legacy over fame, legacy over money. That is it. Proud of you!", while Dee wrote, "For a second there, I thought you met someone who just looked like you. Congrats, Nez!"
