Authorities found the remnants of 50 fuel tanks following an explosive at a used oil warehouse in Bandar Lampung, Lampung province, which led to an investigation into alleged fuel hoarding.

"The warehouse is suspected to be a storage facility for diesel fuel; the owner is different from the lessor. We are still investigating this," Sukarame sub-precinct police chief Comr. Warsito said on Wednesday, as quoted by kompas.com.
The warehouse was completely burned down at night on Jl. P. Tirtayasa, Campang Raya subdistrict, Sukabumi district.
The Indonesian Automatic Fingerprint Identification System (Inafis) team of Bandar Lampung City Police conducted a crime scene investigation on Wednesday morning.
Bandar Lampung Fire and Rescue Agency chief Anthony Irawan said they received a report of a fire at a warehouse for used oil covering an area of approximately 3,000 square meters at around 11 p.m., with the extinguishing process completed at around 2:40 a.m.
"We deployed eight fire trucks to eight different locations and 36 personnel, using 15 water tanks," he said, as quoted by Radar Lampung.
To investigate the potential fuel hoarding, the police collected several items at the warehouse.
The items include 50 tank frames, each with a capacity of 1,000 liters per tank, along with two L300 pickup trucks, one Colt truck unit and two pump engines.
