Even rain couldn’t stop the returning for summer festival We The Fest (WTF)'s third installment on Aug. 13-14 that highlighted music, arts, food and fashion.
ven rain couldn’t stop revelers from thronging to the third installment of summer festival We The Fest (WTF) on Aug. 13-14 that showcased music, arts, food and fashion.
For the first time this year, the event added both another day (making it two days of festival fun) and another stage, literally named “Another Stage”.
Meanwhile, the other stages already familiar to festivalgoers such as the “WTF Stage” and “THIS STAGE IS B.A.N.A.N.A.S” returned, as well as a stage for cooking demonstrations.
People could be seen roaming around in groups underneath twinkling lights and interacting with the festival mascots, including a banana, a wolf, a killer clown and Pikachu. Festivalgoers were also invited to take Polaroid pictures at the H&M booth where the brand showcased its designs and set up a background for photos. Local clothing store Monstore also returned to sell its official merchandise.
Local artists such as Dekat, formerly known as Tangga, rapper Rich Chigga, and folk singer-songwriter Adhitia Sofyan were playing on the various stages. Local bands NAIF, Sheila on 7 and Dried Cassava performed throughout the afternoon of the second day, setting the mood for the international artists to take the stage at night. The international acts, brought by Ismaya Live, performed until midnight.

Sam Feldt pumped up the crowd at the WTF Stage before the night continued with the unique sounds of electronic duo Purity Ring.
The 2014 Grammy-winning duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis brought the rage in their raps and hits on Saturday night. The crowd filled the entire field and clearly enjoyed the highly anticipated performance.
Artists such as Alina Baraz, then afterwards Ta-Ku and Wafia, thrilled crowds on the second day. Many fans were clearly in attendance with many audience members in the packed field in front of the B.A.N.A.N.A.S stage singing along.
On the WTF Stage later that night The Temper Trap made their reappearance after a four-year hiatus, and later on revelers filled the field to see English rock band The 1975. To finish off, people danced the night away to the electronic beats of BLONDE and producer Mark Ronson.
