Taeyeon’s ‘My Voice’ sweeps music charts

Taeyeon’s latest album “My Voice” is dominating both domestic and international music charts.

After its release Tuesday at noon, the lead track “Fine” climbed to the top spot across all eight local music charts, including Melon, Genie and Mnet, within four hours of its release. “Fine” was still holding the spot, as of Wednesday morning.

Taeyeon made it to the top 10 on 22 different iTunes song charts with “Fine,” while her first studio album landed the No. 1 spot on 17 different iTunes pop album charts.

The lead song is also sweeping 12 different iTunes album charts, including Finland, Singapore, Hong Kong and Vietnam. The song took first place in the Korean songs section of Chinese Xiami Music charts as well.

Taeyeon is set to perform her latest song on KBS2 TV’s “Music Bank” on Friday, which will mark her first appearance on a music program to showcase “Fine.”
