ee Min-ho shared his feelings about the documentary featuring the Demilitarized Zone separating North and South Korea. He participated in the program for free as a talent donation.
In a promotional interview clip released Monday, Lee said, “I hope (my participation) will help the documentary genre become more popular in Korea.”
He also spoke about the time he spotted a fratricidal boar in the untouched nature of the DMZ and the soldiers he encountered there.
“It was truly shocking to see a boar devour his own kind,” said Lee.
“The soldiers guarding the DMZ were all young. I felt a pang of guilt for that.”
The documentary featuring Lee, “DMZ, the Wild,” will premiere at 11:10 p.m. on Monday at channel MBC.
