The celebration of Gavan will also include several other events under the title “Segede Gaban,” (Indonesian slang, which means ‘as big as Gavan’) which will include a Jouchaku Challenge competition where participants will show off their styles while transforming from regular human beings into robot-police Gavan, via videos uploaded to social media.
Goshen Media, a Popcon Asia partner, which also holds the license for Gavan in Indonesia, will re-release all classic episodes of Uchu Keiji Gavan on an exclusive DVD as well as official merchandise, as a result of collaboration with local lifestyle brand Monstore, at the event. (asw)
