Yayoi Kusama: Life is the Heart of a Rainbow will be the Japanese contemporary artist’s first major exhibition in Indonesia.

On its Instagram account, the museum announced on Tuesday that the exhibition would showcase 130 artworks created by the Polka Dot Queen over 70 years.

Born in Nagano prefecture, Japan, Kusama started to paint polka dot and net motifs at the tender age of ten. The avant-garde artist is best known for her polka dot, net, pumpkin and infinity mirrored room works.
