he event of the year for Japanese pop culture enthusiasts, C3AFA (Anime Festival Asia), is set to be held from Aug. 31 to Sept. 2. Previously held at JIExpo, Kemayoran, this year's event will be at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD in Tangerang, Banten.

“We believe the new venue is a step in the right direction, as we’ve received much feedback from fans about moving the festival to the ICE,” said Shawn Chin, festival director of SOZO as the event’s organizer, in a press release. “We hope the new venue will be able to accommodate all the new and exciting content we’ll have this year.”

In Indonesia, the convention will highlight a mobile and console eSports tournament, including SEA Mobile Major, games on PCs, consoles, mobile devices as well as tabletop games and special guests.
