“Twenty temples and 10 mazhab [creed] in Jambi support this event,” Rudy told The Jakarta Post on Monday. “On this occasion we would like to highlight the issue of diversity that is united by kebhinekaan [unity in diversity].”
Ten monks from Thailand and 10 others from Bhutan are attending the event, in addition to up to 60 Indonesian monks. Religious Affairs Minister Lukman Saifuddin is scheduled to attend as well. (kes)
