merican rapper Kanye West visited the Masulita Children's Home in Wakiso, also known as the oldest orphanage in Uganda, on Tuesday. West has been on vacation with his family, along with doing charitable in the country.

On his visit, he gifted the children brand new white Yeezy Boost 350 v2s sneakers. The rapper was accompanied by wife Kim Kardashian West, who wore a Ye’s World Food Programs shirt that read “Saving Lives Changing Lives”.

Billboard reported that each child who attended the charity affair went home with a pair of shoes, along with a donation of Beats speakers was handed over to the orphanage. While the event was under way, West made a promise to build a “world-class tourism school” in the country to aid East Africa, as reported by PML Daily, and said he planned to return to see his promises fulfilled.

Kanye also rapped for more than 100 kids at the orphanage and danced along as the children sang songs of their own composition.

Previously, West and Kardashian gifted a pair of Yeezys to Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, and both in return were gifted Ugandan names of their own.

According to sneakernews.com, the Adidas Yeezy 350 Boost costs US$200 for an original and $220 for the V2 edition. (acr/wng)
