Singer Taylor Swift is the most influential person on Twitter in 2018.
Social media analysis company Brandwatch released its annual lists of the top 10 most influential women and top 10 most influential men on Twitter on Wednesday.
Taylor topped the women’s list with an “influencer score” of 98 out of 100, despite having tweeted only 13 times this year, reported CNET. On the men’s side, singer Liam Payne ranked first with 97 points.
United States President Donald Trump, singer Katy Perry, celeb Kim Kardashian West and singer Demi Lovato followed Payne with 96 points. The scores are mainly based on the engagements those individual accounts created.
“The more influential the people they engage with, the better the score,” Brandwatch data journalist Gemma Joyce explained.
