ndonesia is set to participate as a guest of honor at the Janadriyah Festival, considered the biggest annual art and cultural festival in the Middle East, which will open on Thursday.
"As the guest of honor, Indonesia will perform our best in the Janadriyah Festival, which will run for 21 days and include various cultural performances and films," said Alwi Shihab, a presidential special envoy for the Middle East and Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC) as quoted by tempo.co.

Slated to take place in Janadriyah village in Riyadh, the festival will feature the rich cultural heritage of the Middle Eastern kingdom and all it has accomplished. Each of the country’s province, along with guest countries, will exhibit their cultural highlights in pavilions.
Indonesia will reportedly highlight "unity in diversity to strengthen moderation and world peace" as its theme. (kes)
