ndonesia-made language learning application Bahaso has been picked as one of the Google Store’s Best Self-Improvement Apps of 2018.
The list, published on Nov. 29, includes more than 50 self-development apps, with coding learning app Mimo taking out top spot. Bahaso placed fifth, right after music app Ultimate Guitar: Chords & Tabs.
According to Bahaso CEO Allana Abdullah, Education 4.0 was central to the lives of millennials. Bahaso provided language education that was accessible to all, he explained.
"Now languages are fun and flexible to learn anywhere, anytime,” Allana said as quoted by kompas.com. “Affordability and quality are crucial.”

Bahaso currently offers English language learning services, and plans to include Mandarin. The app works with the University of Indonesia to certify users' language comprehension.
It is also developing Bahaso Talk, a feature that lets users have conversations in English with tutors.
