In the cringe-worthy video, Ramsay repeatedly made sexual innuendos to Vergara who is actually trying to answer Leno’s questions.
elebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has been the talk of Twitterverse following his resurfaced appearance on Jay Leno’s The Tonight Show in 2010 as a guest along with actress Sofia Vergara.
In the cringe-worthy video, Ramsay repeatedly made sexual innuendos to Vergara who is actually trying to answer Leno’s questions. Prior to the interview, a clip was aired showing Vergara eating an awful dish cooked by Leno and screaming her displeasure to both men in her dressing room.
Upon taking her seat on stage, Vergara apologized to Leno, saying: “I am sorry, I’ve never screamed that loud in real life.”
To which, Ramsay quipped, “Really? Only in the bedroom?”

Another instance came as Leno held up a cover of Variety magazine with the headline, “If Modern Family Wins the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy, Sofia Vergara Will Run Naked Down Sunset Blvd. *Cast member may change without notice.”
Vergara jokingly said, “You know what, that’s ridiculous. I mean, I cannot run, I have bad knees.”
Ramsay commented, “Knock yourself out.”
The interview grew more uncomfortable as the conversation shifted to Vergara’s vacation to Italy and Greece. A photo picturing Vergara eating pizza emerged and Ramsay said, “You seem like you’re enjoying that. You had a whole wedge in your mouth at one time?”
A visibly frustrated Vergara answers to audience’s laughter, “Yes, yes, yes.”

Ramsay didn’t stop and continued on saying, “You don’t eat pizza with a knife and a fork. You just pick it up and stick it in.”
Vergara then shared a Colombian dessert for the chef to taste. Ramsay’s commented on the dessert, “It tastes like s**t fudge.”
For some reason, the chef turned his back on Vergara who got up from her seat to mock hit him.
Ramsay continued, “You can take it back to f**king Colombia,” to which Vergara retorted, “Fish and chips. That’s all you eat.”
At one point soon after, Ramsay gave Vergara a smack on her upper thigh, which jolted the actress who immediately fired back, “No touching!”
The cut-down version of the video was posted by Twitter user Jason Bolaños, who tweeted, “Sofia Vergara didn’t deserve to be treated like this. This is very very uncomfortable.”
The post has been retweeted 51,000 times at the time of writing and has generated quite a strong opinion among Twitter users.

Sofia Vergara should have smacked @GordonRamsay's face & had him charged with sexual harassment & sexual assault. What an entitled, toxic, chauvinist. Did Jay Leno say ANYTHING to him about this? pic.twitter.com/JC0t78QkW6

Watched a video of Sofia Vergara being uncomfortable during HER interview because of Gordon Ramsay, and I read some of the replies and I saw this. I can’t believe that some people still use “he’s a man” as an excuse for shitty actions. pic.twitter.com/abdunT1vu2

You should publicly apologize for your disgusting and inappropriate behaviour with Sofia Vergara.

However, some think people are overreacting.
I love how everyone had nothing bad to say about Gordon Ramsay up until today when that video surfaced of him getting too touchy-feely to Sofia Vergara and saying outlandish shit about Colombia now hes literally the worst man on the planet and should be publicly hung

Ok so I was looking up Gordon Ramsay cuz I'm weird and I found this!
I actually saw this video a few weeks ago and now people are saying something?? It was all fun and games plus this is a few years old! I love Sofia Vergara and she hasn't complained or said anything about this! pic.twitter.com/WQ53pWL7lf

Both Vergara and Ramsay have been active on their Twitter account, though neither has commented on the topic. (asw)
