ritish singer-songwriter Robbie Williams reportedly played 1970s rock music at high volume to annoy his neighbor, Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page.

On a letter to the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, a local resident named Johnny wrote: “The committee may not have been aware that Robbie Williams has been playing loud 1970s rock music on outside speakers when he views Jimmy Page outside his home. What’s been most annoying is that Mr. Williams has played rock arch-rival bands Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd and Deep Purple.”

Johnny added that Williams had also been imitating Page’s former bandmate Robert Plant.

The BBC reported that Williams and Page live next door to each other in Holland Park in west London.

The feud erupted after Williams requested to build a basement swimming pool at his II-listed home, a United Kingdom grading system referring to a building of special interest that warrants every effort to preserve it.

Page reportedly objected to the plan, fearing that the construction work would damage his Grade I-listed mansion, a building of exceptional interest, which was built in 1875.

After a five-year battle, Williams was granted a conditional approval.

Apparently, the approval has failed to end the dispute. (jes/kes)
