merican singer Halsey has been announced as the headline artist for day two of Singapore’s Neon Lights festival along with Norwegian electro-pop artist Aurora.
The artists being given the center-stage treatment for day one are Mumford & Sons and Honne. According to a statement, more performers will be announced in the coming months.
Neon Lights, an annual outdoor music and arts festival that presents both international and local acts, will take place at Fort Canning Park on Nov. 23 and 24. The event has been taking place in Singapore every year since 2015, except for 2017.
Halsey, a mainstay on the radio waves, has released three record-breaking singles this year alone. Since the beginning of her professional career just five years ago, she has racked up nominations and wins from award shows such as the Billboard Awards and iHeartRadio Music Awards.
Earlier this year, Halsey was featured on popular hit single “A Boy With Luv“ with K-pop sensation BTS.

Playing with Halsey on the same day on Nov. 24 is Aurora, who previously performed in Singapore at the 2017 Laneway Festival.
The two artists are the most recent additions to this year’s lineup, with more artists to be announced in the coming months.
Festivalgoers can now purchase early bird single-day tickets for the Nov. 24 show for S$108 (US$78.5) at neonlights.sg or SISTIC. Single-day tier 2 tickets for the same day will begin selling for S$128 once early bird tickets are sold out. (sal/kes)
