South Korean K-pop singer IU (Lee Ji-eun) has announced her upcoming tour, called Love, Poem.

Jakarta is among the cities she will visit, with a performance scheduled on Dec. 28 at the Tennis Indoor Stadium in Senayan.

It will be the singer's first concert in the city.

Promoter iMe Indonesia posted an announcement on Instagram, although details have yet to be made available.

She will start the tour in early November in Gwangju, South Korea, and continue onto Taipei, Singapore, Manila, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok in December.

IU made her debut in October 2008 and released single “BBI BBI” on Oct. 1 last year to commemorate her 10th anniversary in the industry. The singer has released four albums and nine EPs, as well as had 20 number-one singles on the Gaon Music Charts, Korea's equivalent to the Billboard Hot 100, making her one of the most popular solo artists in the K-pop industry.

IU is also an actress and has made appearances in Korean TV series such as Dream High and Hotel del Luna. (wng)
