Valentino designer Pierpaolo Piccioli has reinterpreted the design of Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 SD sneakers.
ashion brand Maison Valentino has revealed its collaboration with Japanese shoe brand Onitsuka Tiger during Men’s Fashion Week 2020/21.
This time, Valentino designer Pierpaolo Piccioli reinterpreted the design of Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 SD sneakers.
First introduced in 1966 during the pre-Olympic trials for the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City, the design features on the side the iconic stripes of Onitsuka Tiger.

For the collection, Piccioli added the Valentino V logo on the side, placed on top of its iconic stripes.
Available in four colors, namely hot pink, yellow, neon orange and white, the shoes also feature a special co-branded logo on the tongue and insole.
The Valentino x Onitsuka Tiger collaboration will be available in selected Valentino boutiques worldwide and on Valentino’s website. (jes/wng)
