Steve Aoki announces collaboration with Agnez Mo

United States musician and DJ, Steve Aoki, announced his collaboration with Indonesian singer Agnez Mo on Tuesday.

In a post on his official Instagram account, Aoki said he would broadcast the collaboration, which is a single titled "Girl", on Wednesday via the Instagram Live feature.

“Tomorrow at noon Pacific time me and @agnezmo going on IG Live and debuting our song w/ @lifeofdesiigner 9 days before it comes out on Neon Future IV. Get ready for a banger!!” read the post, with reference to American rapper Desiigner.

Neon Future IV will be Aoki’s sixth studio album slated for launch on April 3, in which he also collaborates with other musicians such as Alan Walker, Monsta X, Lay and will.i.am.

Both Agnez Mo and Steve Aoki are known to enjoy collaborating with other artists.

Since moving to the US and changing her stage name from Agnes Monica to Agnez Mo, Agnez has worked with many US musicians such as Timbaland, Michael Bolton and Keith Martin. In 2017 she released her debut international album, titled X.

Steve Aoki has collaborated with artists of various genres such as Linkin Park, Iggy Azalea, Lil Jon, Blink-182, Laidback Luke, BTS, Monsta X, Louis Tomlinson, Backstreet Boys, Rise Against and many more. He was nominated for a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronica Album in 2013 for his studio album Wonderland. (gis/kes)
