Brad Pitt is a talented actor – no doubt about that. But is he a good weatherman?

Well, fans of the actor can see him (once again) deliver the weather report on a new YouTube show that might be the perfect solace for social distancing: the appropriately titled Some Good News.

Hosted by actor and filmmaker John Krasinski, the show shares only positive news about the world, including about the current weather.

“We should do a check on the weather,” says Krasinski in the video. “Brad, how is it looking out there?”

The screen displays the 56-year-old Pitt on a balcony in his home. The Oscar-winning actor is surrounded by lush gardens with palm trees in the background.

Wearing a green sweater and a flat cap, Pitt stares at the sky and says, “Looks, uhh… pretty good. Yeah.”

Pitt is actually no stranger to reporting the weather. According to etonline.com, he made several appearances on The Jim Jefferies Show in 2017 where he also played a weatherman. “Carbon dioxide is slowly turning our planet into an uninhabitable wasteland, and half the population doesn’t believe it,” Pitt said.

The first episode of Some Good News aired on March 30. Krasinski has invited other celebrities to participate in the show, including actor Steve Carell and singer Billie Eilish.

The show’s YouTube channel has two million subscribers. (wir/kes)
