ndonesian rapper Rich Brian practices physical distancing in his latest music video for his single, “BALI”, in which he also collaborates with American rapper Guapdad 4000.

Taking place in his backyard in Los Angeles, the United States, the video shows Brian sending gifts and messages to his friends using a drone. Singer NIKI, for instance, receives strawberries with a message saying, “Here are strawberries because I know you love frozen strawberries.”

Guapdad 4000 also receives US$10 and a message, “Here’s $10 for the feature. Thanks for being on the song.” Guapdad 4000 then delivers presents to his friends using the same drone.

The video also features actor-rapper Cody Ko, comedian-vlogger Noel Miller, musician Thundercat and producer-songwriter Kenny Beats.

The 20-year old rapper encourages his friends to raise funds for local communities, including individuals, medical personnel and small business owners who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Produced by Rich Brian, the video ends with an appreciation for those who have contributed to the donation.

Jakarta-born Rich Brian, original name Brian Imanuel Soewarno, has received international acclaim for his work, including being listed in Rolling Stone magazine's 25 Under 25 in 2017. (wir/wng)
