The future Tesla rival will have an exceptional range of 517 miles or 830 kilometers on a single charge.
As if that wasn't enough, Lucid has also announced the world's fastest electric charging system.
Christened the "Wunderbox," it is billed as being able to charge the Lucid Air at a rate of 20 miles per minute (about 32 km).

The Lucid Air sedan, which was first shown at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2016, is going into production at the end of this year.
All of the new automobile's technical specifications and its final price (probably around $100,000) will be announced on September 9.
Note that the Lucid Air can already be pre-booked for a deposit of around $1,000 in some 20 countries.
