DC characters Batman (Kevin Conroy) and the Riddler (Wally Wingert) are navigation app Waze’s new celebrity narrators.

Available globally in English, Spanish and Portuguese until Oct. 31, the new feature also allows users to swap their vehicle icons with the Batmobile or the Riddler’s race car, choose their mood and listen to characters' dedicated playlists on Spotify connected through the Waze Audio Player.

According to Robert Oberschelp, senior VP global brand product of Warner Bros. consumer products (WBCP), the collaboration aims to lift people’s enthusiasm as the anniversary of the superhero's first ever appearance in a comic book, back in May 1939, also known as Batman Day, is approaching on Sept. 21.

“By collaborating with Waze, we like to give the fans the opportunity to drive their own Batmobile as they prepare to celebrate Batman Day this year,” Oberschelp said in a statement.

Waze brand programs head Erin Bellsey added: “Considering the year that we're having, I think we all need support from superheroes to guide our journey and there’s no better way than rolling out our first program featuring voice navigation, mood and car icon from these two global iconic characters.”
