According to a statement, users will be able to set the image created using the LINE Avatar feature as a profile photo, or share it in a chat room. They can also make an animated version of the avatar and change its background.

The feature is accessible via the profile page and requires users to take a selfie using their phone's camera after choosing the "Avatar" option and tapping on "Create".
