S

everal dozen antivaxxers expressed their outrage outside the venue of Foo Fighters’ vaccinated-only concert at the Canyon Club in Augoura Hills, California, on Tuesday. Among the protesters was former child actor Ricky Schroder, who is known for his antivaccine and antimask stance.

Two days before the concert, Schroder posted an angry Facebook post, accusing Foo Fighter’s frontman Dave Grohl for being discriminatory.

“Dave Grohl is an ignorant punk who needs [to be] slapped for supporting Discrimination. Ignorance comes in all shapes & sizes. Kurt Cobain is laughing at you Dave along with Millions of Patriots....Fool,” the caption says over a doctored image of Grohl holding a syringe, sticking his tongue out, while wearing a black “PHARMA SELLOUT” T-Shirt.

The antivaxx protesters outside the venue, none of them wearing masks, were seen holding signs displaying slogans such as “Foo Fighters fight to bring segregation back” and “Vaccines cause injury and death”.

The Canyon Club show was Foo Fighter’s first ever sold-out show after the pandemic significantly halted live shows and altered the face of the music industry. The 21-and-over concert only issued tickets for vaccinated attendees, who need to show proof of their vaccination upon entering the venue. The band will play another show at Madison Square Garden on Sunday with the same COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
