Jakarta: Actress Angel Karamoy would love to get back into TV soap operas, but says she is going to take time to raise her children first.
"To be honest, I miss *soap operas* so much, but I decided to stop for a while for my children," Angel was quoted as saying by Okezone.com on Monday.
The 22-year-old, who married Steven Mc James Rumangkang last year, said she would wait until her children grow up before she returns to the TV screen.
The couple have a one-year-old daughter Lovely Maria Rumangkang and are awaiting the second.
"I'm pregnant again. It's four months now. I'm not feeling busy at all taking care of my daughter while expecting another one. It's a gift from God," Angel said at the celebration of her daughter's birthday.
"This is the moment I've been waiting for. My daughter can play by herself now and she started to say *Mama' and *Papa' now. It's a beautiful moment for me. I'm so happy," said the star who gained her popularity through soap opera Bidadari 3.
Angel, whose real name is Angelina Wilhelmina Karamoy, had a lavish wedding on Jan. 26 last year, which was attended by about 4,000 guests including President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Vice President Jusuf Kalla.
Angel has appeared in no fewer than 20 soap operas since 1998 including Pelangi di Matamu (Rainbow in Your Eyes), Hati Di Pucuk Pelangi (Heart on Top of the Rainbow), Ada Apa Dengan Pelangi (What Happened to the Rainbows), and Dunia Belum Kiamat (It's Not the End of the World). - JP
