JAKARTA: Over the last two months the city administration has procured 142 plots of land in East Jakarta to make way for the East Flood Canal (BKT) project, is set to buy up other 34 this week.
Deputy Governor Prijanto said Wednesday the administration was now trying to complete administrative process for 129 plots of land.
He said land acquisition for the Rp 1.25 trillion project has faced some problems, including the fact that some plots of land have multiple land certificates. Land procurement for the project is expected to be completed by June. - JP
