ENPASAR: Jembrana Regent I Gede Winasa has been treated at Sanglah General Hospital in Denpasar since Sunday for clinical symptoms of flu and fever.
Doctors treating him have yet to announce what kind of illness Winasa has. The regent is implicated in a graft case over the procurement of garbage processing machines.
"The team of doctors has yet to make a conclusion. The clinical symptoms are flu and fever," hospital spokesman I.G.N. Putra Wibawa said Monday.
He also evaded questions on whether Winasa was hospitalized for dengue fever.
"Let's wait for the results tomorrow *Tuesday*," Putra said.
