AKARTA: The Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Agency is working with visijobs.com to develop an online system to simplify the process of obtaining yellow cards for job seekers.

Manpower placement chief Kartini said Thursday at a job fair that representatives from the five manpower agencies in Jakarta would be ready at the fair to serve online yellow card applicants.

The fair will be held at Trisakti University in Grogol, West Jakarta, on Nov. 21 and 22.

Applicants could fill in their data on visijobs.com and print out the proof-of-registration letter. This letter should be brought to the job fair, where officials will print yellow cards, and take applicants' photographs.

"We are providing this service to make it easier for job seekers, who can meet potential employers at the fair," Kartini said.

Although not all, some companies still require applicants to show yellow cards.
