IREBON, West Java: A bomb threat at the Swadaya Sunan Gunung Djati University (Unswagati) on Saturday led to students, teachers and staff fleeing campus.
The threat was received by two teaching staff at 8:20 a.m. through a text message, advising that the campus be evacuated due to a bomb.
The message was also sent to Cirebon Police chief Adj. Sr.Comr Ary Laksamana Wijaya, who said he promptly deployed a team to search and tame the bomb.
"As a precautionary measure, we also requested that the campus be emptied."
After two hours of scoring, the police team concluded there was no real bomb.
