The court gave Rachel custody of the couple’s son. The actress, who played in several films including Eliana, Eliana and Janji Joni (Joni’s promise), joined the Greater Indonesian Movement Party (Gerindra) and became a member of the House of Representatives for the 2009-2014 term.

“The panel of judges announced its decision. We accepted it and the judges also gave Rachel custody [of her son],” Rachel’s lawyer Muhammad Joni said, as quoted by detikhot.com.

Earlier, Ebes had asked the court for custody of their four-old son, Muhammad Kale Mata Angin. “They have now resolved the custody issue,” Joni said.

Ebes married the 30-year actress in 2005. — JP
