Facebook user says she was raped

A

junior high school student in Jambi reportedly suffered sexual abuse from someone she knew from Facebook.

The student, 14, identified as A.I., was allegedly raped by A.O., 19, a senior high school student in Jambi.

Adj. Snr. Comr. Almansyah, the spokesperson of Jambi Police, said upon receiving the reports on Wednesday they had arrested the suspected perpetrator.

In her report, A.I., who was accompanied by her parents, said she knew A.O. through Facebook and telephone communication.

When they went together to Telanaipura, A.O. solicited A.I. She said she refused and resisted by pushing A.O. to the ground. However, she said A.O. came up and grabbed her forcefully on her underwear. Afterwards, A.O. took A.I. home. — JP
