AKARTA: A number of artists, including Dewa Budjana (see photo) from rock band GIGI, singer Trie Utami and Laksmi Devi, are slated to hold a free concert and collective prayer for peace at the Prambanan temple comlex in Yogyakarta on Wednesday night.
Agung Bagus Mantra, who is the coordinator for the event organizer, Yayasan Nyanyian Dharma, said Tuesday that the concert was held as a call for peace in the archipelago, which was recently shattered by violence in Mesuji, Lampung, and Bima, West Nusa Tenggara.
The concert is titled “Sembah Sujud Doa Pertiwi Nusantara Harmoni”, and will be held at the Ramayana stage at the complex, tempo.co reported.
