AKARTA: Local reggae fusion band Souljah is releasing their fourth album, which will be packaged with the band’s first, second and third albums and a novel, and they plan to sell food and drink along with the album as well.
Souljah said their fourth album would have songs with three themes: “Morning”, referring to upbeat songs; “Afternoon”, referring to songs telling of problems; and “Evening”, for songs that can be played as lullabies.
“We tried to have as many songs as possible on this album. If we had 15 or 30 songs, we would have used them all,” bassplayer Renhat said.
The album will be sold at Rp 300,000 (US$33).
“People will buy Souljah. This is Souljah,” Renhat said as quoted by kompas.com last week.
The band said it plans to set up a special food stall for their fans dubbed Braddasouljah. The stall will sell nasi uduk and tea, among other treats, and the new album.
