akartans who wish to spend the last day of the school holiday period by taking the Transjakarta bus to the Ragunan Zoo can do so free of charge on Sunday.
The city administration will exempt busway tickets in all corridors and waive the zoo’s entrance fee for the day to celebrate Jakarta’s 485th anniversary, which fell on June 26. “We delayed the program for two weeks due to the gubernatorial election process,” administration spokesman Sugiyanta said as quoted by beritajakarta.com on Thursday. A fleet of 485 buses would be readied to handle a high number of passengers.
