ec. 5, p. 8
All people have a dream of living in peace and harmony. However, today we still see war and propaganda. Many people die due to a lack of good leadership in the world.

Your comments:
The author seems to think the West and Islam is the entire world. He has forgotten to mention the “misunderstanding” between Asia and Islam.
As we fight to find alternative energy sources, move forward with equality rights and expand basic human rights, these seem to attack Islam’s concept of “morals” and “God’s will”.
Deddy K.
This article is all about the “Culture Wars” syndrome and the author believes that Muslims and Western countries must integrate themselves into global society.
Saying that maintaining harmony and understanding will eliminate negative perceptions between Muslims and Westerners is all well and good but the onus of responsibility is on those who fight progress.
