T

his is an open letter to the embassies of Myanmar, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Pakistan and the Philippines to Malaysia.

We strongly condemn your citizens for what they are doing in our country. In fact, they even have Malaysian identity cards to mask as our country's citizens and, as such, they will attempt to vote in our upcoming election.

We believe that your constitutions prohibit your nationals from possessing dual or more citizenship. We urge you to conduct a formal and adequate investigation into this matter, which is in essence an act of treason. We also request the full force of the law be applied to the people involved.

Besides, it is generally agreed that interfering in another country's internal affairs and politics is a despicable act. This contravenes mutual respect and the peaceful enjoyment of complete sovereignty by a country. Further, accepting bribes to vote is a weakness and it is a crime under international law. Such behavior is a disgrace and intolerable in any country. As such, we hereby declare that such acts show low civil awareness toward international practice. Any of your nationals involved with such acts will damage your countries' reputations.

We are happy for your citizens to seek opportunities in Malaysia. However, we do not take kindly to them create problems for us, such as claiming Malaysian citizenship through illegal means.
