President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) will conduct a meeting on the subsidized-fuel price hike policy on Thursday, a close aide says.

SBY spokesman Julian Aldrin Pasha, however, did not provide any clarity on the meeting's agenda.

"I cannot disclose any details at this stage," Julian said as quoted by kontan.co.id.

The subsidized-fuel price has been raised after the government and the House of Representatives agreed to pass the 2013 revised state budget (APBN-P) bill into law on Monday.

Julian stressed that the planned meeting would be a follow up to the series of previous meetings conducted by SBY and Vice President Boediono on subsidized-fuel price hike policy.

"I cannot provide assurance on when the price will be raised but there will be an announcement on it," Julian said.
