Agus Sugama , head of Subang Animal Husbandry Agency, said 1,400 ducks were found dead at Pandek village in Pabuaran subdistrict as well as another 13 ducks and 124 chickens at Kiaragoong village in the same subdistrict; and another 75 chickens in Ciomas village, Cipeundeuy subdistrict.
'This is not the first time. Approximately two thousand birds have died,' he said, as quoted by tribunnews.com.
Agus added that tests had confirmed bird flu virus was present in these two subdistricts. A team has been deployed to investigate the source of the virus.
'Please report any irregularities to the authorities immediately,' he said.
