he City Police said on Thursday that Abdul Qodir 'Dul'Jaelani, the youngest son of musician Ahmad Dhani, had been driving too fastwhen his car crossed the median and crashed into two minivans, causing a fatalpileup on the Jagorawi tollroad on Sept. 8, 2013.

Spokesman for the City Police Sr. Comr. Rikwanto said an investigation carried out by Mitsubishi, which produced the car Dul was driving during the accident, found that the vehicle had been going 176 kilometers per hour (kph) only two seconds prior to the crash.

'The investigation, which was carried out in Japan, entailed a thorough examination of several parts of the badly damaged car, and it is valid and accurate,' he said.

The speed limit on the toll road is only 100 kph per hour.
