A

member of the Indonesian Movement Association (PPI), AnasUrbaningrum's organization, said that the graft suspect's family had warned himoff eating or drinking anything offered to him by the Corruption EradicationCommision (KPK).

'We don't want something bad happening to him while he is in jail,' Deny Haryatna, a PPI activist, said without elaborating further on Friday as quoted by kompas.com.

He said Anas' family would provide all of his sustenance, with his wife Atthiyah Laila, personally serving her husband his meals while in detention.

'We have been discussing the technicalities of this with the KPK,' Deny said.

Anas' detention relates to bribery allegations surrounding the Hambalang sports center construction case. It was also reported that Anas was suspected to have received gratuities from other projects as well. (dic)
